You can manage all your support team members โ€” including agents, admins, and supervisors โ€” from the Users area of your dashboard.

โž• Add New Users #

To create a new agent or admin:

  1. Go to the Users section from the left-hand menu.
  2. Click the โ€œAdd Userโ€ button at the top-right.
  3. Fill in the user details and assign the appropriate role.

๐Ÿ“Œ Note: Only agents and admins can access the Support Board admin panel.

๐Ÿ” Set Agent Privileges #

Customize agent access levels and permissions via:

  • Settings > Admin > Agent Privileges

This lets you control what agents can see and do within the platform.

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ’ผ Create Supervisors #

A Supervisor is a special type of admin user with enhanced oversight capabilities.

  • Navigate to: Settings > Admin > Supervisor
  • Enter one or more Admin User IDs, separated by commas, to designate them as supervisors.

โš ๏ธ Supervisors must be admin users to gain this elevated access.

๐Ÿ”— WordPress Integration #

When you activate the SmartAI Support plugin on a WordPress site:

  • An admin account is automatically created in SmartAI.
  • It uses the same username and password as the currently logged-in WordPress user.

Use roles and permissions effectively to build a secure and organized support team structure within SmartAI.Support.
