Here’s what to keep in mind when you message us through Twitter Direct Messages:
🔁 Receiving Duplicate Messages?
This usually happens if you’re testing from the same Twitter account that we connected to our system. Try sending a message from a different Twitter account to avoid duplicates.
🌐 Use a Live Website
Twitter messaging integration only works with live, public websites. Local testing (localhost) is not supported.
🕒 Reply Window
When you message us on Twitter:
- We can send you up to 5 replies within 24 hours
- After 24 hours, we cannot reply again unless you message us first
This is a rule set by Twitter to protect user privacy.
📎 Attachments
We can send you:
- Up to 3–4 attachments per message, depending on the file types
❌ Not Supported
Some fancy chat features (called “rich messages”) may not work on Twitter, such as:
- Image sliders
- Cards or multi-item sliders
But don’t worry—we’ll always send messages in a format Twitter supports.
