Getting started with your AI-powered chatbot is quick and easy. Follow the steps below to activate and fine-tune your first SmartAI chatbot.
✅ Step 1: Complete Synchronization #
Before enabling the chatbot, ensure your system is connected to OpenAI by completing the synchronization process:
- Go to:
Settings > Artificial Intelligence > OpenAI > Sync Mode
- Choose either Automatic (recommended) or Manual sync
- Save your changes
✅ Step 2: Activate the Chatbot #
- Navigate to:
Settings > Artificial Intelligence > OpenAI
- Enable the Chatbot option
- Click Save to apply changes
Your chatbot is now active and ready to respond to user queries.
🧪 Step 3: Access the Chatbot Playground #
- Click the 🙂 smiley icon in the left sidebar to open the Chatbot area
- Use the playground to test responses and review how the chatbot interacts with users
🛠 Troubleshooting #
If your chatbot isn’t responding or seems inactive:
- Go to:
Settings > Artificial Intelligence > OpenAI
- Click the “Troubleshoot Problems” button
- Follow the guided steps to resolve common configuration issues
📚 Enhance Your Chatbot #
To maximize performance and accuracy:
- Use the Training section to feed data (FAQs, files, websites, etc.)
- Set up Human Takeover to ensure smooth handoff when AI can’t respond confidently
