Getting started with your AI-powered chatbot is quick and easy. Follow the steps below to activate and fine-tune your first SmartAI chatbot.

✅ Step 1: Complete Synchronization #

Before enabling the chatbot, ensure your system is connected to OpenAI by completing the synchronization process:

• Go to: Settings > Artificial Intelligence > OpenAI > Sync Mode
• Choose either Automatic (recommended) or Manual sync
• Save your changes

✅ Step 2: Activate the Chatbot #

• Navigate to: Settings > Artificial Intelligence > OpenAI
• Enable the Chatbot option
• Click Save to apply changes

Your chatbot is now active and ready to respond to user queries.

🧪 Step 3: Access the Chatbot Playground #

• Click the 🙂 smiley icon in the left sidebar to open the Chatbot area
• Use the playground to test responses and review how the chatbot interacts with users

If your chatbot isn’t responding or seems inactive:

• Go to: Settings > Artificial Intelligence > OpenAI
• Click the “Troubleshoot Problems” button

• Use the Training section to feed data (FAQs, files, websites, etc.)
• Set up Human Takeover to ensure smooth handoff when AI can’t respond confidently
